Sahni's House

Building codes in Ajijic ("a-hee-heek") have no set-backs, so when the vacant lot next door was converted to a lovely outdoor mall, the builders adjoined their structure directly to Sahni's. Several of Sahni's window features are now covered over, and their house could now be described as a townhouse.

Note the scalloped ceilings. This style is typical of the region and you can see it in many other photos of the area.

By the way, this is a getaway home. If you want to rent their house for a spell, they are asking $450 US per month which includes the weekly maid.
